World Autism Awareness Day

In 2026, awareness of autism has grown significantly across our communities—but awareness alone is not enough. Today, we encourage everyone to move beyond awareness and toward deeper learning, understanding, and acceptance of individuals on the autism spectrum.

Whether or not autism directly touches your family, it’s likely that you know someone who is autistic or who loves someone who is. Autism is part of our shared community, and building an inclusive world benefits us all.

At Humboldt Autism Alliance, our mission is to provide Humboldt County with access to information, education, and resources that foster a more inclusive and supportive community. Through our partnerships with local individuals, agencies, and organizations, we strive to empower youth and adults on the autism spectrum to reach their highest potential.
