Open Gym

Open Gym events take place at HealthSPORT Gymnastics in Fortuna.

You can expect to see a variety of ages bouncing, swinging, and tumbling on the gymnastics equipment, having fun and making new friends.

Open gym is FREE to those on the Autism Spectrum, and one caregiver.

Siblings may attend for a $5 fee.

Afternoon At The Museum

This 90 minute event at the Redwood Discovery Museum includes a free play with interactive exhibits and thematic programs.

The exhibits and programs promote hands-on discovery in the areas of science, art, culture, technology, and healthy living.

Afternoon at the museum is FREE to those on the Autism Spectrum and one caregiver.

Siblings may attend for free.

Support Group for Parents and Caregivers

Join other caregivers in a safe and supportive environment. Our in-person support group is exclusively for parents or guardians, caregivers, and spouses of individuals on the Autism Spectrum.
Currently, childcare is not available for these meetings.

These events provide a safe, calm, supportive and sensory-friendly opportunity to individuals of all ages

Sensory Screenings at Broadway Cinema

Motion picture sensory screenings currently take place at Broadway Cinema in Eureka and are inclusive events for individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.

The movie starts promptly with no trailers, the lights are dimmed, and the sound is lowered.
Attendees have the freedom to move around during the screening.

Screen events are posted on our Facebook page as well as our Events Calendar.

Please note: Sensory Screenings are free to those with ASD, their immediate families, and respite/behavioral workers only.
Please RSVP due to limited seating.

Meet and Greet with the Easter Bunny and Santa

These events provide a safe, calm, supportive and sensory-friendly opportunity to individuals of all ages to meet Santa and the Easter Bunny.
Individuals are greeted with an extensive variety of holiday themed activities and goodies to take home.
Families may have their photos taken with Santa and the Easter Bunny and create memories that they will treasure forever.
