School Sensory Calming Space Grant

CONGRATULATIONS Scotia Elementary School for being the first recipient of our new “School Sensory Room Grant”!!! We will share photos of their new space once they have completed it so STAY TUNED!!!

This $5,000 grant to construct a sensory calming space in the school was fully funded by a generous donation to Humboldt Autism Alliance from the CA/NV Childhood Autism Program by the California-Nevada Moose Association.

We had 11 schools apply for this grant for the 2024/25 school year and it was SOOOOO hard to choose just ONE! If we can raise another $5000 we will award another one of the 11 applicants with a grant.
